Can a foreigner buy an apartment in Georgia?
Yes. Foreigners buy flats and apartments in Georgia on the same terms as citizens. Restrictions apply to agricultural land, not to homes.
Can I buy remotely?
Yes. The agreement is signed under a notarised power of attorney, with payment by bank transfer. A manager will send a video of the unit and guide you through the deal.
How does the installment plan work?
20% down, then a fixed monthly payment (for example $600 for an apartment from $43,645) until December 2027, and the balance on completion or by mortgage. The developer offers special terms for full payment.
How does the purchase work?
Choose an apartment → preliminary agreement and advance payment → sale and purchase agreement → ownership registration with the Public Registry of Georgia.
Who will manage the resort and rent out apartments?
Valor Hospitality Partners, an international operator. We will send the management terms with the price list.
When is completion?
Triplet Towers: Q4 2028; residences: Q2 2027, Q4 2027.
What taxes apply when buying?
Georgia has no separate tax on buying a home; you pay the Public Registry fee. Rental and property taxes depend on your situation, and we can suggest a tax adviser.
Does buying give residency?
Buying property above a certain value lets you apply for a Georgian residence permit. The threshold and documents change from time to time. We will tell you whether a unit qualifies.
Can I see the property?
Yes, we arrange viewings on site or online tours by video call.
How is the name spelled: Petra Sea Resort or Petra Resort?
The full name is Petra Sea Resort; it is also known as Petra Resort or Petra Batumi. The resort is in Tsikhisdziri, 15 km from Batumi, and is named after the nearby Petra Fortress.
